Micro-and-Small-Business

In partnership with the Micro and Small Business Support Service (Sebrae-RJ, in Portuguese), Eletrobras offers small businesses in Rio de Janeiro opportunities for training and development. This initiative contributes to strengthening this market segment and reaffirms Eletrobras' commitment to sustainable development. Sebrae is a private entity that promotes competitiveness and the development of micro and small businesses, specializing in transforming small businesses into protagonists of sustainable development in Brazil.

The program consists of training sessions on management (strategic, financial, commercial, documentation, indicators, quality), digital marketing, and corporate modules (sustainability and governance). It includes ongoing consulting support throughout the program to help implement the knowledge into the practical management of each business. The goal is to increase competitiveness and improve their businesses based on Sebrae's statistics and experience. The methodology for evaluating results involves monitoring the indicators of competitiveness, productivity, and profitability of participating companies.

The program also includes the Sustainability Marathon for participants, an event that addresses topics such as innovation, sustainability, and competitiveness; low-carbon economy; inclusive economy; ESG due diligence; and circular economy. In addition to raising awareness and engaging small businesses in these themes, this action reaffirms the importance of this audience for sustainable development and highlights that implementing sustainability in small businesses is not only possible but also provides a competitive advantage and improves performance.
