International Technical Cooperation Projects

International technical cooperation allows the transfer of knowledge and successful experiences, helping countries to overcome restrictions that hinder their growth.

In association with the Brazilian Cooperation Agency of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Brazil , we establish international technical cooperation projects with entities capable of providing technical knowledge and assisting in the development of strategies for the implementation of modern, sustainable and efficient means of serving remote areas of Brazil and affording the productive use of electricity in rural communities.

Due to the country's continental dimensions, many residences are located in rural areas that are difficult to access, which makes it impossible to implement and maintain power grid conventional systems. We are responsible for operating rural electrification programs and we have been looking for international technical cooperation to support electricity distribution concessionaires in the face of the challenges imposed by this new model of energy supply through alternative means.

In this regard, we have participated in technical cooperation with the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA), in addition to working on the implementation of experimental projects in the North for the development of sustainable models of rural electrification using renewable energy sources.
