The Institutional and Government Relationships area (RIG) has structured integrated processes with the Compliance Program:

  • It has implemented the Institutional and Government Relationships Policy

  • It has a stakeholder mapping and legislative monitoring platform which, in order to complement the records made on the Compliance Management Platform, it generates the Engagement Map of Eletrobras' spokespeople with public authorities' stakeholders by key issue;

  • It has promoted the certification of its members in the ABNT PR 1001 Recommended Practice for the activity of Institutional and Government Relationships at an advanced level. The standard was drawn up based on the experience of international organizations such as the OECD and Transparency International;

  • It has mapped the activities of the legislative monitoring and parliamentary mobilization processes, generating traceable and auditable flowcharts;

  • It is centralizing the management of contracts with associative entities in the electricity sector in order to optimize the institutional benefits of this relationship from 2024 onwards and take better advantage of the associations' partnership in the company's representation work before the National Congress;

  • It has implemented a periodic relationship program with public officials - Coffee with the Powers - in which, through corporate events, the company talks transparently with members of the executive and legislative branches about issues that impact the electricity sector, presenting its contributions, challenges and collaborating with the democratic process of building public policies;

  • It keeps regular track of the legislative agenda through the Eletrobras Legislative Agenda, which shows management focused on results- and is an indispensable tool for the Eletrobras RIG team. Given the highly regulated nature of the energy sector, the monitoring of the legislative agenda is extremely important to support the adoption of strategic actions along with stakeholders.
